AP89xxxK series - VOICE IC - One Time Programmable

AP89XXK series high performance Voice OTP (one time Programmable) are fabricated with Standard CMOS process with embedded 8M/4M/2M/1M/512K/256K EEPROM. It can store from 10 to 682 sec voice message with 4 bit ADPCM at 6Khz sampling rate. User selectable triggering and output signal options provide maximum flexibility to various applications. Built-in resistor controlled oscillator, 16-bit current mode D/A output and PWM direct speaker driving output minimize the number of external components, Volume control, support SPI, I2C and MP3 mode and power on play.

Q - What is the difference between the AP89XXX and the AP89XXXK series? The aP89XXXK serie is pin to pin with the AP89XXX serie. Several new features and improvements are added. See Comparison Table Q - Are these IC compatibles with the AP89xxx series? Yes, they are pin to pin compatible. See Comparison Table Q - Can I use the same programmer from the AP89XXX series? No. The writers are different. There are two writers, one for DIP24 and one for SOP28 which includes the socket. Q - I tried the IC on the AP89DBAMP demoboard and it does not work? You need to use the AP23KDBAMP-24S/28S demoboard.
