The I/O Extender Module has 3 additional ports (total 24 pins) The function and performance of the pins are similar to those of the Basic Commander. Additional ports can be used for functions such as event detection of the signal variation on the pins, counting of the input pulses, etc.

Feature

• 3 ports and each port has 8 pins, total 24 pins.
• Microsecond (.ms) accurary and independent signal width measurement and signal pulse counting on each pin.
• Independent variable frequency output on each pin.
• 8-channel analog to digital (A/D) measurement inputs.
• Facilitates high voltage event detection on 8 pins and low voltage event detection on another 8 pins. It can detect the voltage variation events on 16 pins at the same time.

Here are some ideas to help you get started with this module:

• Add the functions to independently control the display status of several indicators at the same time.
• Provide a detection function for signal variations on each pin.
• With the A/D converter pins, an analog signal can be converted into a digital signal for follow-up processing.
