LCD 2x16A Module provides versatile display functions. It can display two line message with 16 characters on each line. In addition, by using the cursor control commands, the character displayed at any position on the screen can be arbitrarily changed. The backlight function is also provided. By changing the backlight setting, it allows the message to be read easily. In addition, it can be configured to display user-defined characters.

Feature

• Display the corresponding characters in ASCII code.
• Messages can be input as strings, numbers or special characters. The module will automatically convert the data into the corresponding display format.
• With proper settings, the backlight provides 255 steps brightness control for the display.
• For continuous inputs, the module will change the cursor positions to display messages between the lines and automatically override the previously displayed messages.
• Provides various methods of cursor movement. Cursor position can be directly assigned for arbitrarily jumping between rows or columns. The Tab value can also be configured to perform automatic cursor movement backwards by number of characters. When the cursor position is unknown, Home command can be used to allow the cursor to return to the starting point of the screen.
• Several clear screen commands are provided, clear a single character before the cursor, clear the characters after the cursor to the end of the line, or clear the remaining characters after the cursor position to the end of the screen.
• Set user-defined characters to display various creative characters or figures.
• When the LCD display is not in use, Disable display command can be executed to save power consumption.
• With the RTC Module, it can be used to display the real time clock.
• To display the operating status at any time for various applications.
• To display the status or error messages directly on the screen.
• With the user-defined characters, special patterns can be created to produce creative messages.
